The purpose of a blog is to share your interests and what is on your mind at the time. You are also able to share pictures of importance to you. The pros of a blog would be being able to share your opinions and interests with the world. Also being able to create something that is yours that you can personalize is a good thing. The cons of a blog are that you once you post something on the web, it is there forever and you cannot take it back and that blogging can be dangerous. They are safe to a certain extent. If you put too personal of information on your blog then people can use that against you or track you down. For the most part, blogs are safe and educational. They can be used as an educational tool by teaching you how to customize a website and how to stay safe on the Internet.
